City Surfer Office invites you to the last event of 2025. The performance by Johannes Tröstler and Marketa Slana will take place on Thursday, December 18, at 7 p.m.
This gathering is less a concert and more of a warm exhale of a shared seasonal moment. Inspired by Christmas gatherings and carols Johannes and Marketa bring deconstructed version of those traditions and present repeat forever post-orchestra of fake strings and digital brass instruments that invites listeners into a quietly glowing winter hush.
Johannes Tröstler is a Czech-Austrian music producer based in Prague. His practice includes sound design for performance and video, installation work, and his own musical projects under the pseudonym dj bingo. Drawing on sampling, field recording, and musical deconstruction, Tröstler works intuitively, often building from notes, fragmented pop culture media, and narrative associations.
Marketa Slana is a Prague based artists working with sculpture, performance, text and video. Slana’s practice considers how the aesthetics and visual culture of bureaucracy, neoliberalism and techno-capitalism affect productions of selfhood, particularly though the lenses of girlhood and the metabolisation of internet culture within the physical reality. In tone, the work has a dark, existential humour, where absurdity and post-irony reflect the affects of dissociation and alienation that typify living in the contemporary political moment.

City Surfer Office zve na poslední událost roku 2025. Performance Johannese Tröstlera a Markety Slane proběhne ve čtvrtek 18. prosince od 19h.
Toto setkání není ani tak koncertem, jako spíše vřelým vydechnutím společného sezónního okamžiku. Inspirováni vánočními setkáními a koledami přinášejí Johannes a Markéta dekonstruovanou verzi těchto tradic a představují nekonečně se opakující post-orchestr falešných smyčců a digitálních žesťových nástrojů, který posluchače zve do tiché, zářící zimní tichosti.
Johannes Tröstler je česko-rakouský hudební producent působící v Praze. Zabývá se zvukovým designem pro performance a videa, instalacemi a vlastními hudebními projekty pod pseudonymem dj bingo. Tröstler čerpá ze samplingu, terénních nahrávek a hudební dekonstrukce a pracuje intuitivně, často vychází z not, fragmentů popkulturních médií a narativních asociací.
Marketa Slana je pražská umělkyně zabývající se sochařstvím, performancí, textem a videem. Slana se ve své tvorbě zabývá tím, jak estetika a vizuální kultura byrokracie, neoliberalismu a techno-kapitalismu ovlivňují tvorbu individuality, zejména z pohledu dívčího dospívání a metabolizace internetové kultury ve fyzické realitě. Její dílo má temný, existenciální humor, kde absurdita a post-ironie odrážejí pocity odcizení a alienace, které charakterizují život v současné politické situaci.
